Open a Salt Cave Technology DescriptionSalt Cave Opening Process Flow
General descriptionThe Salt Cave (Halocomplex Aerosol Chamber) consists of a speleoclimatic chamber and a dry saline aerosol generator to simulate speleotherapy. The special salt covering on the walls and floor acts as a buffer for air moisture and helps maintain the environmental aseptic properties. Dry sodium chloride aerosol containing particles of 0.5-5 um in size is produced in this room by a special nebulizer, the Dry Saline Diffuser; the device which pushes air containing this aerosol into the chamber. The Dry Saline Diffuser is situated in an interconnecting room and brings a flow of clean, dry air, saturated with highly dispersed negatively charged particles of sodium chloride into the therapeutic room. Speleotherapy vs. Halotherapy:Speleotherapy in a salt cave or salt mine relies solely on the natural salt environment (no machine is installed). The advantages of Halotherapy (a.k.a. Salt Therapy) are the provision of a specified concentration of dry salt aerosol under controlled conditions of temperature and relative humidity, while regulating the size and speed of the dry sodium aerosol particles. The Dry Saline Diffuser controls and maintains the concentration of highly dispersed aerosol at pre-set levels, providing a concentration of dry sodium chloride between 1 to 50 mg/m³.Quality of the air during a Halotherapy sessionA stable hypoallergenic, hypobacterial environment is maintained in the therapeutic room. The assessment of the microbial contamination during a Halotherapy session proves that 1 m³ contains from 90 - 200 saprophytic microorganisms (according to WHO standards on air sterility, 1 m³ should contain less than 300 microbial bodies).
The size of the salt aerosol particles is preset to 0.5-5mkm. These parameters are found in the natural environments in different speleotherapy centres, which are located in natural salt caves and mines.

The Service: Technology and training packageIn order to establish a professional Salt Cave and operate it successfully on a profitable way, we also provide a package that includes technology advises during the planning / design / fitting in works and training for the operation. It helps to cut down the long and expensive learning curve. Salt Chamber Installation with salt applicationThe chamber is an enclosed space of sufficient room to comfortably accommodate 10-13 patients. Walls and the floor are covered with rock salt. You will be provided a detailed technical description which type of salt can be used and what is the salt application procedure on the walls. On request our contractors can do the salt application on a very reasenable price on walls, floor and on the ceiling. We also provide technical support for the fitting in and installation processes (e.g. insulation, air exchange and filtering system, air condition system, fibre optic lights, etc) TrainingConsultation and training at our premises is included covering the following operation areas. Please note that this know how is based on 8 years operation experience in Toronto, Canada and 6 months operation experience in London, UK:
